You've got the right proportions and overall shape down, but the coloring and effects are all crappy and rushed looking. Focus on improving those. For instance, try to learn how to better use gradients.

Hmm, not bad! Although, let's face it; your picture doesn't look as good as any given single frame from the actual Mastermind show. It's not your fault, Michel Swain is just nearly impossible to top. =(

Yeah. I would completely agree. But the whole point of the print calendar was to draw a NG character in your own original style.

Michael Swain has this whole comic book style which is completely different than mine =/
